THE HOUSE OF NOMENA

The House of Nomena
A HUMAN LIFE
Everything that ultimately matters to a person is lived through a human life.
It is through a human life that we enter into relationships, come to love, make choices, assume responsibility, discover meaning, create, contribute, and gradually become who we are.
For this reason, the unfolding of a human life is of profound consequence.
The way a life unfolds shapes what becomes possible within it.
A HUMAN LIFE BELONGS HERE
Nothing is first required of a human life before it can enter the House’s attention.
It need not justify its significance. Nor explain itself. Nor become something else before it can be faithfully encountered.
Everything else begins there.
RECEIVING A HUMAN LIFE
To receive a human life is to place it within faithful attendance.
WHAT HAPPENS HERE
A human life is gradually returned to itself.
Everything that takes place within the House exists in service of the gradual return of a human life to itself.
For a human life to be returned to itself is for it to once again belong to itself.
From here, it may once again find what is truly its own, and faithfully continue its own unfolding.
THE HOUSE STANDS WITH A HUMAN LIFE
Every person stands alone before the most profound reality they face — their own life.
It is the one reality before which no one else can take their place.
The House stands with the person before that reality.
A human life does not stand alone before itself here. It is not left unattended.
AN ENDURING COMMITMENT
The House of Nomena exists because a human life deserves an enduring place devoted to it.
So that a human life need never remain without a place where it can be encountered in its own right.
Every generation inherits the task of learning how to live. Every person inherits the responsibility of living their own life.
The House exists to faithfully receive a human life, attend to its unfolding, and accompany its gradual return to itself.
It is the work to which it will remain devoted, for as long as there are human lives to be lived.
The Process
