ENTERING THE HOUSE

Entering the House
Everything you’ve encountered until now has been an invitation to understand what Nomena is devoted to.
This is where your relationship with the House begins to change.
SHARED CONCERN
Until now, you have been encountering Nomena from the outside.
Simply because it is a human life. And that alone is sufficient reason for it to be faithfully received.
THE NOMENA READER
If you choose to enter, the person you will encounter is your Nomena Reader.
The Nomena Reader is someone through whom you begin encountering your life differently.
Most of us spend our lives responding to what our life presents. Rarely does the life itself become the object of sustained attention.
For a time, another human being stands before your life without reducing it.
Your life gradually becomes more than something you have simply been living. It becomes something you can consciously meet.
Your relationship to your own life begins to change.
FAITHFUL ATTENTION
In the faithful presence of the Reader, your life begins revealing its own organization.
The coherence belongs to your life. The Reader helps create the conditions in which you can finally encounter it.
They are the human being through whom you first experience what it is like for your life to be faithfully accompanied in its becoming.
What first arrives as another person’s faithful attention gradually becomes your own.
THE EXCHANGE OF RECEPTION
Every journey within Nomena begins with Reception.
Reception is the first constitutional act of the House. A human life is first received.
The Exchange of Reception exists to consciously enter that first encounter.
It marks the beginning of a relationship in which your life is no longer approached as a collection of separate concerns, but as a coherent unfolding worthy of faithful attention.
Exchange of Reception
This exchange establishes your Reception and the beginning of your relationship with your Nomena Reader.
Should you decide not to continue beyond Reception, there is no further obligation, and the exchange will be returned.
THE THRESHOLD
A human life does not enter the House because every question has been answered.
It enters when it recognizes that it no longer wishes to stand before itself alone.
